He's No Hurdy Gurdy Man

I kept writing and erasing, writing and erasing...so not so many words. Just that I'm not racist, I'm not typical, and I'm very very concerned right about now.
I also know I won't hear from many of you, and that's okay. Just research for yourselves, that's all that matters anyway.

How'd you like that speech by the great reverand today.....a pathetic man he is! And even when the audience was asked not to clap during the q&a time....they did (not the press). Typical of those at graduations that are asked not to clap and cheer, but they do anyway. Oh, I could go on and on and on......

That's right...and I have to wonder how many folks in the audience clap because they don't have the guts to not do so. It's very scary.

Yep, the Rev destroyed any chance of MY swinging to the Obama camp. I'd vote for Hillary first. And before I'd vote for Hillary, I'd vote for my horse.

I think we're all damned if we do and damned if we don't. Basically, we're screwed.

J came home and told me about this. I was floored with some (ok most) of his statements. Geez, Stacey, we're in for a world of hurt if he gets voted in.

Then again, if it's Hillary, I'm leaving the US! I'd rather deal with more open and honest corrupt politics in India!

You know what's racist? NOT criticising someone because they are members of an "oppressed people group" (whatever that is). As if "they" are not people like you... good, bad and in-between.

SO I think you ought to keep criticising the man. He OUGHT to be criticised. He is not fit to be President.

Well Peak Sister, you know how Jim and I feel from his johnnieappleseed blog.

And Donna, You go girl! I'll vote for your horse, it would do much for for the US than Hill or Obama.....Jami

I know what you mean, Obama has an advantage in that anyone writing anything negative about him can easily be accused of racism or this-ism or that-ism. I think he is the absolute scariest candidate, and it has nothing to do with the shade of his skin.

Oh, Stacey...I agree with you completely. I have been thinking about posting something, too, but I can't come up with EXACTLY what I want to say. ~sigh~

My husband just said a few nights ago that we may be moving to Canada because of this!

Which one is the lesser of two evils, right? I just don't see a good end. Scary stuff.

My husband has said from the beginning of the campaign that Obama was going to be our next president...not that either of us could be blamed for that. He scares the heck out of us! If you've ever seen the Left Behind movies, he reminds me of Nikolai Carpethia from those movies...a VERY scary person.

Yep. Yep. I'm with you.
