The Song That Brought Me Into This World

Okay I totally stole this from JenGi (it's okay, I'll send her candy). If you head over to this site and plug in your exact birthday, it'll take you to the song that was Number One on the day you were born! And I was pleasantly surprised to find Crazy For You by Madonna was my song!

Okay okay back it up a few more years....and while I wasn't lucky enough to have Bye Bye Miss American Pie (JenGi's song) for my debut theme song, I do kinda sorta like the one I got. It's by the Boxtops--The Letter. Give me a ticket for an airplane..ain't got time to take a fast plane. Lonely days are gone, I'm a goin home...my baby wrote me a letter. Not bad. Here's the video on You Tube. They're not smokin NOTHIN, by the way. This is how they always look. Probably. You don't know for sure.

Oh, I'm off to find out. But I'll tell you, "The Letter" is one of the first songs I can remember, and only because my teenaged brother Very early adult, about 20?) was telling me about the "story" in the song. It was the day he was moving out of our home because he was getting married, I think. Either that or serving in the National Guard. But it was a sad moment, and yet I liked that he was talking to me, giving me attention. I'm nearly 46 and still remember that moment whenever I hear the song. Thanks for the memory!
