Sherry tagged me over a week ago and I'm just NOW remembering this! How do you forget a tag not once, but twice? Sorry Sherry. Coulda been worse, last month I forgot my son's ortho appointment not once, not twice, but THREE TIMES! Can you imagine how horrified I was when I shot out of bed one day remembering that ortho appointment that was TWO days ago? The one I scheduled after two failed attempts, I assured Cathy, the adorable receptionist, that she shouldn't worry, this will NOT be a pattern. Okay it won't be a pattern starting.....NOW!
No worries, Cathy, I'm putting up a dry erase board on the back of the mud room door. It'll be IN MY FACE every morning!
So...I've successfully veered off track here, and need to re-focus on the tag from Sherry. I need to post seven things about me and then run around the blogosphere tagging seven people. Now I think I'm going to do this a little differently. I'm going to wander around tagging seven people I've never met, that haven't met me either. Should be kinda fun to see if they play along!
1. My maiden name is Poirier and Poirier means pear tree or something pear-ish in french-time.
2. My husband and I knew each other a scant nine months before we were married--and that was nearly 19 years ago!
3. I could watch I Love Lucy all day long and NEVER stop smiling!
4. I would give anyone who sincerely needed me to anything I have sans taking from my family--ANYTHING.
5. I was a cheerleader, but only because as a runner-up one of the cheerleaders broke her leg and ta dah! But....I made it on my own the next year, lol. AND I had NOTHING to do with that break, really!
6. I can't get to sleep unless I have Coast to Coast AM on the radio...and I am learning to like George Noory almost as much as Art Bell, but it's been hard!
7. I think Genesis (not the band) is one of the most fascinating adventures in reading I've ever delved into--why did it take me years to discover?!
I'll be off tagging in the morning--right now, I'm getting very very sleepy, so it's bedtime! Thanks for tagging me, Sherry, and letting me talk about me me me tonight! I hardly ever do that, right??

You are so cute, Jamee!
I used to not be able to get to sleep without my radio on. I don't even have a radio next to my bed anymore (my cell phone serves as my alarm... times change!) but I do love going to sleep while the televsion is on!
Have a great day!

Argh - I don't know why I typed Jamee in... obviously I KNOW that YOU are Stacey! It's early in the morning... please excuse my morning brain!

So you're French huh? You seem so un-frenchie!!
Do you really know about Tinkiller or am I being a blonde?? (don't take that question and run with it!)
^^oops that was me! No worries, no nasty stuff.
My hubby works nights and driving home, he loved to listen to Art Bell. I'm not sure if he listens to George. I'll have to ask.
Oh! I love to read Genesis. Exciting, fascinating stuff there.
My daughter would be envious of your maiden name. For the moment, she loves all things French (except escargo).
You are right, your BIL living in Long Island gives you NO excuses to visit NY. It's really a history-rich, captivating city. Of course, I was just there a month ago so I'm still on a NYC high.
Hubby is a C2C fan. I asked and he says George is all right. He's only been able to listen a couple of times tho.
Hubby and I knew each other 6 months when we married 15 years ago - pretty cool! You and I have a lot in common! I don't think I could get to sleep with the radio on, tho. I need SILENCE!
Girl you are not alone, I was tagged twice by two other people and still haven't done them. UGH. I hate that!
At the airport now! waiting for my plane to bring me home!
OK... love the I Love Lucy bit... a little thing about me - I could watch The Golden Girls all day long and still laugh out load like a hyena! I love that show!
- Audrey
Pinks & Blues Girls
I'm with Audrey on the Golden Girl thing. Ma just sends me over!
Ok, Frenchy! You had me howling at the blonde thing.
Where are you today? Working?? You've been quiet since this morning.
Such fun facts! My hubby and I knew each other a scant 25 years before we got married - LOL! Of course we were geeky little teens when we first met. I could watch I Love Lucy and laugh all day also.
