I received a text from USO Girl this morning--they are safe. No power and some property damage, but safe. I told her I'd pass it on, I know many of my friends are hers as well. Bubba's Sis evacuated, so I'm confident they are okay as well.
Such a tragic weekend with the hurricane and the train collision...

Stacey, thank you! You were a source of great comfort to me. I'm glad you got the text. I have been having a horrible time sending them so I wasn't sure if you'd get it.
Tomorrow, we'll know about Bubba's Sis' house. Please continue praying. I'm sure they will be without power. That is fine as long as their house is livable. They can stay with us to get out of the heat, if they want.

Thank you for the prayers! We were feeling them for sure. By the grace of God we have no major damage to our home - we are truly blessed. This area is completely devastated, tho. It's going to take a long time to recover. Some pics are up on my blog...
